Chris Brown Dragged Into Custody Battle By Diamond Brown Just Days Before Welcoming His New Child

Legal tensions involving Chris Brown intensified just days before the artist welcomed a new child, according to newly filed court documents.

A paternity-related case was brought by Diamond Brown on April 3 concerning their 4-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown. In the filing, Diamond states that Brown previously acknowledged paternity through a voluntary declaration, which she included as supporting evidence.

Lovely, born January 7, 2022, has lived with her mother in Los Angeles since birth, the documents state. Diamond is seeking both legal and physical custody, while allowing visitation rights for Brown. She also requested that the court require him to cover her legal fees.

The legal filing arrived amid escalating public tension between Diamond and Brown’s current partner, Jada Wallace, who recently gave birth to his latest child in late April. Prior to the court action, Diamond publicly criticized Brown on social media, alleging he attempted to intimidate her new partner.

Wallace responded online, defending Brown and accusing Diamond of restricting his access to their daughter.

“You a lame for running to the internet,” Wallace wrote. “Tryna air business out like you not the one that’s stopping him from seeing his daughter.”

Diamond denied those claims, though she acknowledged withholding visitation on one occasion after alleging Brown “spazzed” during an interaction involving other parents.

The dispute further escalated online, with Diamond appearing to suggest a confrontation with Wallace following the birth of her child.

The case remains ongoing, with custody and financial matters yet to be resolved in court.
