Finesse2tymes Turns to ChatGPT to Break Down “One-Sided” Mob Ties Deal—Alleges He’s Trapped in Contract

Finesse2tymes is sparking a major conversation about the music industry’s “fine print” after taking to social media to expose a contract he describes as “one sided as f**k.”

In a viral social media rant, the rapper revealed he has turned to artificial intelligence to understand the depth of his legal situation, admitting, “So me and Shug, I then finally found my my Mob Ties contract. Uh, got a lawyer to look over it, but a lot of lawyers, um, like they they they don’t really want to f**k with it. They f**k with it, but they don’t really want to f**k with it. And I got a couple people that then reached out to me and I just sent it to them and I still don’t trust this s**t a whole lot. So me and Shug finally decided to do, um, ChatGPT. So it’s my first time doing it. Ever using ChatGPT, I never used this s**t. Um, they everybody been encouraging me to try to use this s**t, so I’m fit to try to use it for the first time.”

The AI breakdown paints a grim picture for the artist, highlighting how advances and perks, like cash, jewelry, and private planes, are essentially debts that can lead to recoupment claims or lawsuits if he tries to walk away. The contract also allegedly includes an “assignment clause,” allowing the label to transfer his contract to another entity while he remains locked in.

Finesse2tymes expressed his frustration and desperation, stating, “Y’all think this s**t funny but it’s not. I moved off loyalty. I thought it was an honor to have J Prince, the old man, to be my manager. Y’all told me I didn’t need a lawyer because all they do is f**k over people. Well it looks like y’all worse than lawyers. I’m asking as a man can somebody please help buy me out this situation before I crash out and do something that get me a life sentence. Because the way I’m going out, it’s guaranteed I’m not going to die in the process.”

He continued,  “I’m not trying to be a bully but this contract is one sided as f**k. And I posted it all. Let me out. Or I’m going to spend my entire life trying to bring y’all down. For all the mob ties street guys that got love for me and that I got love for, I hope this don’t come between us. But finding out I don’t own my masters, I agreed to a partnership. Y’all got me good. Posting Atlantic contract next”.

The breakdown of the Atlantic Recording Corporation deal further reveals the restrictive nature of the agreement, labeling it as an “exclusive deal” where the artist cannot record for anyone else and the label maintains control over all music. With the contract length tied to album drops plus additional months, and options for the label to extend, the rapper feels trapped in a cycle he didn’t fully grasp at the start.

Finesse2tymes’ public outcry serves as a stark reminder of the importance of legal counsel in the entertainment world, especially when “loyalty” is used as a reason to skip the lawyer.
