General Hospital Monday, December 22 Recap: Jason Saves Britt from Jail, Molly Kisses Cody and Portia Subpoenaed

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, December 22, reveals that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) saved Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) from jail while Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) kissed Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was also subpoenaed, so here’s how all Monday’s GH drama went down.

At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, she got some help decorating for Christmas.

Molly and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) showed up along with Jason and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

Since Jason realized Molly was confused over the kiss she witnessed at Brown Dog Bar, he explained that drunk Britt was to blame and that Cody rejected her right after Molly left.

Danny also gave a guy’s perspective and insisted that if Molly was interested in Cody, she’d have to spell it out for him.

At the Quartermaine stables, Tracy complained about Outback stealing her glove and had a conversation with Cody about Molly.

After Tracy gave Cody a nudge to go for it, Molly arrived later and planted a big kiss on him.

Molly briefly worried that she might’ve misread things, but Cody pulled her back into another lip lock.

At the police station, Britt and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) lied that they were just going back to Britt’s place to get the money for their meal instead of dining and dashing.

That excuse didn’t fly with the cops, so Britt eventually called Jason to tell him that she was in trouble at the PCPD.

Jason arrived and got news on the situation, but he insisted he’d only bail Britt out – not Brad.

However, Jason came through for Brad as well thanks to how he chose to clean up the mess.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) eventually returned and snapped Brad’s pic along with Britt’s.

Chase said the photos were going up on the wall at Café Cherie, where Britt and Brad could never dine again.

As for the bill, Chase revealed that Jason paid it and gave a big tip to the waiter that Brad and Britt stiffed.

At Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) place, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) was there helping with her Christmas tree when Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) showed up with Trina’s present.

Emma seemed worried that Gio was bailing on the gathering at Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place, but he was just procrastinating a bit.

After Gio left, Emma decided to chase after him and show her support.

Trina suggested Emma couldn’t go empty-handed and hinted about taking something over to Lulu’s place.

Once Trina was alone, she seemed bummed over her family being torn apart during Christmas.

At Lulu’s house, she was grateful to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) for being there since she needed backup to avoid Gio and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) coming to blows.

Lulu also spoke to Dante alone and offered a reminder about the importance of Gio and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) coming together as brothers.

Dante and Gio kept the peace at the tree-trimming party, which also brought Rocco’s apology to Laura since he caused a lot of mayoral drama for her.

Rocco also shook hands with Dante, so Lulu was pleased to see them repairing their bond.

Outside, Emma met up with Gio privately to let him know he wasn’t alone in all this.

Once Emma pulled out some mistletoe that Trina had given her, Gio kissed her under it.

At the Metro Court, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) managed to talk through their issues since neither one of them wanted to lose this friendship.

Although Nina feared she wouldn’t be able to fix things with Portia, Ava offered some hope that they could be friends again.

Nearby, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) spoke to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about the latest evidence against Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) working in his favor since it would undermine the prosecution’s case to go after him, too.

The conversation shifted to Jordan and Curtis’ romantic reconnection, which Jordan thought maybe they should end because of Trina.

Curtis felt confident that Trina would be OK with them eventually and shut down Jordan’s talk of splitting up with a kiss.

Next, Jason headed back to Alexis’ place to enjoy more quality time with Danny and help finish Christmas decorating.

At one point, Alexis called someone about tracking down a witness that the defense needed to testify in court tomorrow.

That led to Alexis suggesting Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) could be of help.

Amy came through with an address, so Alexis got updates on that a bit later.

At Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) cabin, Portia opened up to him about her fear that she might break her relationship with Trina for good if Isaiah was the father of her baby.

At the same time, Portia considered this child a surprise blessing.

Isaiah confessed that he wanted the baby to be his, so Portia admitted she wanted that too from a personal standpoint.

Portia and Isaiah’s cozy time together was interrupted by someone who arrived and served Portia with legal papers.

Once Portia looked at them, she realized she was being subpoenaed and that she’d have to appear in court for Willow’s defense tomorrow.

General Hospital spoilers say Portia has a tight spot ahead of her, so don’t miss what’s coming up in court!

CDL will have other fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to check out, so pop back in soon for more GH details.
