Venus Williams Reveals She Quietly Married Andrea Preti With Two Ceremonies Across Italy and Florida

A new chapter officially began for tennis icon Venus Williams as she married actor and producer Andrea Preti in an intimate, two-country celebration rooted in love, family, and intention.

According to Vogue, the couple exchanged vows twice, first in Ischia, Italy, on September 18, followed by a second ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida. Italy had always been the dream location, but logistics played a role in expanding the celebration.

“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy, but we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork — because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding,” Venus shared.

The Florida festivities reflected Venus’ roots and stretched across a full week of events planned by Jennifer Zabinski of JZ Events. One standout moment included a yacht gathering gifted by her sister Serena Williams.

“They always say weddings go so fast, and they do,” Venus told the outlet. “We were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other.”

The couple legally married during a courthouse ceremony on December 19, with Venus wearing a Morilee New York gown. Preti described the moment as deeply emotional, saying, “For me, the courthouse ceremony was very unique, emotional, and deep. It was the second-best day of my life.”

Their larger ceremony followed with carefully chosen music, handwritten vows, and a reception that ended with an after-party in Hobe Sound, Florida. After keeping their relationship largely private, Venus and Preti marked this moment on their own terms, blending romance, family, and meaning across every detail.
