Boosie Begs Elon Musk For Help Curing Diabetes After Falling For Deepfake Video

Boosie is dead serious about getting his health right in 2026, but he might have let his guard down when it comes to the wild world of AI.

The rap veteran had the internet doing a double take on Saturday after writing a plea to Elon Musk in all-caps on X.

Boosie, who has battled Type 1 diabetes for years, thought he had finally found the “cheat code” to the disease after seeing a video of Musk supposedly pitching a miracle cure.

The “Wipe Me Down” rapper was so pressed for the info that he didn’t even tag Elon, he just dropped his assistant’s phone number for the whole world to see.

“JUST SAW THIS VIDEO WHERE ELON MUSK SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT CURING DIABETES N 17 HOURS ELON PLEASE GET SOMEONE TO CONTACT MY ASSISTANT 2052157895 SO WE CAN GET MORE IMFORMATION ON THIS. I REALLY WANT TO GET THIS SICKNESS OUT MY BODY 2026.”

Unfortunately for Boosie, the “breakthrough” he saw was actually a sophisticated scam. The video turned out to be a deepfake featuring an AI-generated version of Musk promoting a “fridge trick” supplement that claims to reverse diabetes in less than a day.

Even Musk’s own AI, Grok, had to step in and deliver the reality check.

Grok clarified that the video was a complete fake, “It appears Boosie is referring to a deepfake video circulating on social media, where an AI-generated Elon Musk promotes a ‘fridge trick’ supplement claiming to reverse diabetes effects in about 17 hours. These are scam ads, not real statements from Elon. Sources like Engadget and Polititact confirm they’re fabricated.”

Although Elon Musk has his hands in many projects, curing diabetes in 17 hours isn’t currently on the list.
